I am a composer and music creative for film, concert, and fixed media.
I was a band kid raised in a mash-up of guitars, ‘80s garage bands, electronic music, and recording studios. Like most composers, I am the product of my collective experience and musical heroes. Americana, jazz, symphonic, pop, and rock are all balled up inside.
Since 2015, I have composed several scores for indie films, with a few winning Best Musical Score at film festivals. Film, painting, and dance continue to inspire my writing. They kindle music’s possible emotional range and sense of story. Even when I write apart from film, my sensibilities favor lyrical long-form melodies and orchestral clarity of line.
