Kyle Davis

Kyle Davis is the Head Orchestra Director at Jordan High School in Katy ISD. He has also served as a clinician and adjudicator throughout Texas. Under his direction, the JHS Symphony Orchestra and Sinfonia Orchestra have been named National Winners in the Mark of Excellence National Orchestra Honors project on multiple occasions. Both ensembles have also been finalists in the TMEA Honor Orchestra competitions with the string orchestra being named 1st Runner-Up twice. In December 2024, the Jordan High School Symphony Orchestra performed at the 78th annual Midwest Clinic in Chicago, Illinois.
Kyle studied music at West Texas A&M University in Canyon, TX receiving a Bachelor of Music (All-Level Certification) and a Master of Arts in Music.  His teachers include Emmanuel Lopez and Dr. Mark Bartley.
Mr. Davis is married to Heather Davis, Head Orchestra Director at Sartartia MS in Fort Bend ISD and they have a five-year old son, Grayson.
The Jordan High School Orchestra, located in Katy ISD, is a dynamic and growing program dedicated to musical excellence and student artistry. Established in 2020, the program has rapidly expanded to include over 200 students across multiple ensembles. Under the direction of Kyle L. Davis, the orchestras consistently perform at the highest levels, earning recognition at regional and state events. Recent achievements include being named 1st Runner-Up in the 2026 TMEA Honor String Orchestra Competition, a testament to the program’s commitment to quality and musicianship. With a comprehensive experience emphasizing technical skill, musical expression, and collaboration, Jordan HS Orchestra inspires creativity and fosters a lifelong love of music.
